The Haunting Dream: A Chilling Horror Story

The Haunting Dream That Changed Alina's Fate

It was a cold night in Karachi. Alina lay on her bed, feeling an unexplainable restlessness. Every night, the same dream haunted her—a dark house, a swinging chair moving on its own, and the desperate cries of a little girl begging for help.

One day, she decided to uncover the truth behind this recurring dream. In a desolate corner of the city, she found the exact house that had appeared in her dreams again and again. The house was eerily silent and abandoned. A chilling gust of wind added to the unsettling atmosphere, but Alina's curiosity pushed her to step inside.

The Swinging Chair and the Witch

With a creak, the door opened after she pushed it. Inside, darkness engulfed every corner, but in one part of the house, the familiar chair was swaying gently. Her heart pounded wildly, but she gathered her courage and walked toward the chair. As she got closer, she saw a little girl sitting on it. The girl’s sobbing voice echoed in Alina’s ears, “Help me, Alina! Take me away from here!”

Alina reached out toward the girl, but suddenly, the girl’s expression twisted into a sinister grin. She started laughing hysterically and said, “I’ve been waiting for you, Alina. You were destined to come to me!”

Before Alina’s eyes, the little girl transformed into a horrifying witch—her eyes glowing red, nails long and sharp, and her mouth filled with razor-like teeth. Terrified, Alina tried to step back, but the door behind her slammed shut.

Alina ran frantically around the house, looking for a way out, but there was none. Her screams echoed through the empty halls, but the witch’s footsteps grew louder and closer. Suddenly, the witch appeared right in front of her, whispering something unintelligible into Alina’s ear. Alina’s expression softened into a calm, eerie smile, and she froze in place.

Moments later, the door creaked open on its own. Alina walked back to her house as if nothing had happened. She quietly lay on her bed and closed her eyes.

The Chilling End of a Mysterious Night

The next morning, when Alina’s mother came to wake her, her heart sank in horror. Alina lay on her bed, her face pale as if every drop of blood had been drained from her body. Her eyes were closed, but her lips carried a disturbing, creepy smile. Alina was no longer alive.

Just then, a cold gust of wind swept through the room, and the faint sound of a swinging chair—the one that only haunted Alina’s dreams—echoed within the house.

After all, who says dreams are merely figments of imagination?
