The Haunted Railway Track: The Ghost That Haunts
The Haunted Railway Track: A Ghostly Encounter
I wasn’t afraid nor did I believe in ghosts but a few years ago something happened in front of me that changed my thinking.
Hello my name is Ali and a few years ago something happened to me that I want to share with you. My friend Kashif and I had both come to Karachi for our studies and we were living on rent at Kashif’s uncle’s house.
The house was nice big and airy and in front of the house there was a railway track. Trains would often pass by but it was mostly quiet. No one really came or went and it was quite an isolated place.
RAILWAY TRACK
Kashif and I were living on the second floor and there was also a roof there. After studying Kashif and I would often go up to the roof to sit and the fresh air would relieve all our fatigue. One day we were sitting and talking when we saw a girl walking on the tracks in front of us.
A fast-moving train was approaching from behind her. Kashif and I started shouting from the roof but it was of no use as the train’s noise was too loud and our voices couldn’t reach her.
Suddenly the train passed over the girl. Kashif and I quickly ran out of the house toward the train. It was evening and when we got to the tracks there was no one there everything was normal. Kashif said Maybe the girl moved away we were worried for no reason. We went back to our house.
TRAIN
A few days later after studying I was walking on the roof and I saw the same girl standing there. This time she was looking directly at me. She was standing in the middle of the railway track and once again a fast train was approaching.
I was standing on the roof shouting Move away but she didn’t move and the train passed over her. I panicked and ran outside to check the track but everything was normal and there was no trace of the girl. I couldn’t understand anything and went back to the house. At night I told Kashif about it and he reassured me saying it was just my imagination and nothing more.
A FEW DAYS LATER
Around 2 a.m. I woke up to the sound of knocking on our room door. I woke Kashif up and asked Who could be knocking at this time? Kashif and I asked Who is it? and we heard a girl’s voice from outside. We were a bit worried about why a girl would be there at this time. Anyway we opened the door and it was the same girl we had seen twice on the railway tracks.
She was badly injured and asked us for help saying Can I come inside and sit for a while? As soon as she stepped inside something jolted her back and she moved away.
Then she asked us to come outside and take her to the hospital. She pleaded for help. As I was about to step outside Kashif grabbed my hand and stopped me. He quietly said Don’t go outside something’s not right. Kashif asked the girl How did you get up here? The downstairs door is locked and there’s a family living on the ground floor. Why don’t you ask them for help?
The girl suddenly got angry and said You two will help me come outside When Kashif firmly refused saying we wouldn’t go outside her voice suddenly changed into something terrifying and she started shouting Come outside Her true form began to reveal itself. Kashif quickly shut the door. The girl started banging on the door loudly yelling Open the door I won’t let you go I’ll kill you open the door come outside.
Kashif quickly called his uncle who lived downstairs. His uncle came up with the rest of the family but when they got there no one was outside. His uncle called out Kashif open the door We felt a sense of relief and opened the door to find his uncle and the family standing there. Then his uncle explained to us that it was an evil spirit which often appears to people asking for help.
It only shows itself to those who are easily deceived by it like young boys who quickly fall for its requests. Anyone who tries to help it ends up dead. It couldn’t enter our room because we had protective verses placed inside so it couldn’t harm us. Kashif and I were so scared that we left that house and moved into a hostel.
