The Haunted Rainstorm by the Sea: A Ghostly Encounter That Changes Everything
The Haunted Rainstorm by the Sea: A Ghostly Encounter That Changes Everything
ASSALAM O ALIKUM I’m SHEHZANA, back with another new story. If you like it, please share and follow, thank you.
It had only been a short while since I got married. My husband and I were very fond of traveling; we used to go out often. One day, my husband and I went to the seaside. That day, it was drizzling lightly, the weather was beautiful, so we decided to go out.
When we reached the sea, it suddenly started raining heavily. My husband and I sought shelter under a nearby shade to avoid getting soaked. There were fewer people around today, not much of a crowd.
A little distance away from us, I noticed a woman sitting calmly on a bench, lost in thought. The rain was pouring heavily, and she was sitting alone, getting drenched. I found it a bit strange.
I told my husband that the woman on the bench was getting soaked and suggested that he invite her to join us under the shelter. My husband called out to her:
"Hello, sister, please come over here. The rain is too heavy; come under the shelter."
The woman lifted her head and looked at us, smiling in a strange way. For a moment, I thought we might have made a mistake by calling her. The woman stood up and started limping towards us, possibly because one of her legs was injured.
She was moving towards us very quickly. My husband and I realized that we had made a mistake by calling her because she didn’t seem normal.
Now, she stood in front of us, staring at me continuously. She looked me up and down. The smell coming from her was unbearable, a foul odor that I couldn’t stand.
I held my husband’s hand tightly. The woman kept staring at me, and suddenly, she whispered something in my ear that left me shocked.
"Give me your child, give me your child." And with that, she started laughing loudly in a strange manner. I told my husband that we should leave immediately. As we began to leave, the woman grabbed my hand and kept repeating the same words, "Give me your child, give me your child." My husband got angry and slapped her, but she continued laughing. We quickly left the place and went home.
After reaching home, I got a fever out of fear, and my condition worsened. The next day, I went to the doctor, who prescribed some tests. When the reports came in, I found out that I was pregnant. Hearing this news didn’t bring me joy; instead, the woman’s voice kept echoing in my mind, "Give me your child, give me your child." How did she know that I was pregnant?
I couldn’t sleep that night. It was 3 a.m. when I went to stand by the window in my room, looking outside. Suddenly, I saw the same woman, and I screamed. My husband rushed in, asking what happened. I told him that the woman was standing outside, but when he looked, there was no one there. I thought it might have been my imagination.
Nine months of my pregnancy passed, and the time for delivery had arrived. I was admitted to the hospital; everyone was happy. My delivery went smoothly, and I was at peace, but no one showed me my baby.
I asked my husband, who was looking sad, and he took me to see the baby. When I saw my child, I screamed because he wasn’t like a normal baby. His hands and feet were twisted, his eyes were completely white, and he didn’t look human; he seemed like some other creature.
The same foul smell was coming from my baby that I had sensed from that woman on that day.
I cried a lot, and my condition worsened. My husband consoled me, gave me some sleeping pills, and I fell asleep. In the middle of the night, I woke up in my hospital room and saw the same woman again.
I couldn’t move my hands or feet, nor could I speak. The woman said to me, "This is not your child, it’s mine, and I’m taking it with me." And then she disappeared.
The next morning, the doctors told me that they couldn’t save the baby; he had died.
It has been ten years since my marriage, and I haven’t had any children since then. I don’t know who that woman was, but she wasn’t human; she was some evil entity who took away all my happiness.
